Per the February 2002 Royal Warrant, the maximum number of awards for the Miniature Meritorious Service Medal CIIR was amended to 201 and the qualifying period shortened to 20 years. Annual award allocations are currently as follows: Royal Navy (49), Royal Marines (3), Army (89), and RAF (60). This medal is uniform across all branches of the military.
